The Grinch Stole Christmas @ NRG

Big Ben threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns, for the Steelers to clinched a first-round playoff bye with a 34-6 win over the Texans on Monday in Houston.
Poor gameplay by Texans allowed The Steelers to lead 20-0 at halftime after taking advantage of two turnovers by the Texans. Le'Veon Bell put up a 10-yard TD run late in the third quarter and the rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster made it 34-6 with an 18-yard touchdown grab in the fourth.
Bell finished with 14 carries for 69 yards and Smith-Schuster had six receptions for 75 yards. The Texans defense seemed non-existent.  With loss of not having Watt, Mercilus with the recent return of Cushing, Clowney cant do it by himself. The Texans really need to strongly thin k of 2018 season to better prepare for injuries.
When looked throughout the NRG stadium, you saw the EXTREME takeover of "Terrible Towels" take over the seats. It was actually depressing to see you home stadium filled with more opponent fans than your own home fans. The Texans organization really needs to take note of this. And Im pretty sure the players seeing that was a morale blow as well.
Back to gameplay,  T.J. Yates completed seven of 16 pass completions for 83 yards and a touchdown for the Texans. Yates made his second straight start since Tom Savage sustained a concussion.
I dont know if the team is cursed but to see Yates leave the game briefly on Monday to be evaluated for a concussion was rough. With the tean already plagued at the QB position, to see your 3rd string get on a concussion protocol is tough. And  to make matters worst, or throw more salt in the wound the  replacement,Taylor Heinicke, comes in and sustains a concussion on his only full possession.
The only magical event in the NRG stadium yesterday was the AMAZING catch by D-Hop in the corner of the endzone in the fourth. Hopkins deflected the ball with his right hand, brought it in with his left and planted both feet right before falling out of bounds for his NFL-best 13th touchdown reception. Even though that was DOPE catch of the game. It wasnt enough for the Texans. They fell to the Steelers 34-6.
